Jeff Ting

Jeff Ting is a Machine Learning Engineer at Editorialist since September 2022, previously serving as a Data Scientist at Clarivate where contributions included advanced machine learning applications in natural language processing and data security initiatives. With a background as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, Jeff developed a traffic prediction toolkit utilizing machine learning and enhanced accuracy through graph neural networks, while also publishing research in a peer-reviewed journal. Experience includes roles as a teaching assistant in AI and Big Data Science, a Software Developer at the University of Toronto Intelligent Transportation Centre, and an Engineering Assistant for York Region. Jeff holds a Master of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Engineering.
