Clarissa Mitchell

Clarissa Mitchell has an extensive background in talent management and training. Clarissa is currently the Director of Talent Management at Edmentum since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Talent Management at Cox Communications from 2020 to 2023. In this role, they were responsible for implementing talent strategies and creating engagement plans. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Assistant Vice President of Talent Management at U.S. Bank. Before that, they served as the Senior Director of Talent Management/Enterprise Learning Technology at Elavon, Inc. from 2011 to 2019. In this position, they managed global talent processes and led the implementation of a Learning Management System. Clarissa also worked as an Independent Training Consultant at Mitchell Training and Consulting in 2010 and as a Regional Training Manager at Concentra Medical Centers from 2009 to 2010. Clarissa Mitchell has also held positions at Warranty Corporation of America, Kimberly-Clark, National Data Corporation, and Clayton State University, where they gained experience in corporate training and instructional design.

Clarissa Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina from 1990 to 1993. Clarissa then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management at Troy University from 1996 to 1997. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certification from The Myers & Briggs Foundation in 2018, Development Dimensions International, DDI Certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2014, and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2000.
