Gopal Parikh

Gopal Parikh has extensive work experience in the field of energy management and smart grid solutions. Gopal currently holds the position of Vice President, Enterprise Architecture, Group Technology at EDMI Limited. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Product & Solutions Management at the same company.

Before joining EDMI Limited, Gopal worked at NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, where they held various roles including Solutions Manager and Engineering Manager. During their time at NEC, they led projects related to grid energy storage, data analytics, and smart energy business opportunities in the APAC region. Gopal also worked closely with government agencies and industry partners.

Earlier in their career, Gopal worked at Landis+Gyr as a DGM in the Solution Architect role. Gopal also had notable positions at HCL Technologies, Secure Meters Limited, ESL India Limited (Secure Meters R&D Division), and Entity Solution Limited (Secure Meters R&D Division). At these companies, they gained experience in technical leadership, solution development, and software design for energy management and metering systems.

Overall, Gopal Parikh has demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture, product and solutions management, smart energy solutions, and energy metering. Gopal has contributed to national-level research projects and received recognition for their work in the field.

Gopal Parikh completed an Executive Education program in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on its implications for business strategy at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Institution of Engineers (INDIA) between 1997 and 2005. Gopal also completed their Secondary & Sr. Secondary education in Science and Maths at Vidhya Niketan from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Gopal Parikh obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management and Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc, both in 2023, and Mastering Energy Storage from Infocus International in 2019.
