Liz Choi

Liz Choi has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Liz started their career at Education Canada Group and held positions such as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer and Chief Transformation and Growth Officer. Liz also served as the Chief Executive Officer starting from November 2021. In addition to their roles at Education Canada Group, Liz Choi also worked as a Keynote Speaker and Business Advisor at Liz Ferocious Inc. Liz has been actively involved in organizations such as The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, where they served as the Chair of the Board of Directors and the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. Liz Choi has also served on the boards of Career Trek Inc., Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg, and CentreVenture Development Corporation. Liz was a member of the Immigration Advisory Council for the Government of Manitoba. Throughout their career, Liz Choi has demonstrated their ability to drive transformation, facilitate growth, and contribute to strategic planning.

Liz Choi holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Education from the University of Manitoba, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. Liz further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Adult and Post Secondary Education from the University of Manitoba, completing it from 2011 to 2014. Liz Choi has also attained a certification in CTESL in 2007. In recent years, they have pursued Executive MBA programs at the Schulich School of Business and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, from 2022 to 2024 and 2023 to 2024 respectively.
