Bill Potter

Bill Potter has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and countries. Bill has worked in education development, with a focus on youth employment, capacity development, and improving access to learning opportunities. Bill has served in leadership roles such as Senior Project Director, Chief of Party, and Country Director for organizations like EDC, World Education, and International Rescue Committee. Bill has also worked as a teacher and program associate. Their experience includes managing programs, overseeing staff, and handling logistics and budgets. Additionally, they have expertise in project implementation, soft skills training, and technical vocational skills.

Bill Potter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and History from Willamette University from 1981 to 1985. Bill then pursued their Masters Degree in Secondary Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 1990 to 1993. In addition, they also participated in the National Science Foundation Fellowship Program at The City College of New York from 1991 to 1992, focusing on Secondary Science Education.
