Steve Maple

Steve Maple is an experienced educator and examiner with a strong background in English language and literature. Currently serving as a GCSE English Language Examiner for AQA and an English Lecturer at Macclesfield College, Steve has been a Private English & Film Tutor since April 2015 and a WJEC/EDUQAS A Level Film Coursework Moderator since May 2013. Previous roles include Head of A Level English Literature at Aquinas College, where Steve implemented effective assessment strategies that improved student pass rates and retention. Additionally, Steve has held various leadership positions in educational institutions, including Head of Faculty at The Trafford College Group, where attendance was increased significantly. Steve's multifaceted career is complemented by additional roles in digital marketing and event management as the Tribute Band Manager for The Ultimate Stone Roses. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in English Renaissance Drama from The University of Manchester and various teaching certifications.
