Nineta Vretou is currently serving as a Seconded National Expert in Radio Spectrum Policy at the European Commission, a position held since March 2023. With extensive experience since 2003 as an Expert Scientist in Electronic Communications at EETT, Nineta Vretou focuses on regulation, monitoring, and supervision of the electronic communications market, while also being involved in various working groups, including those related to eIDAS and BEREC. Additionally, Nineta Vretou has expertise in telecommunications and spectrum management, having represented Greece at the ITU’s Regional Radiocommunication Conference. In parallel, Nineta Vretou pursues a career as a painter and multimedia artist. Educational qualifications include a DEA in Physics from Paris-Sud University, a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Technology from Middlesex University.
