Joey Spott

Joey Spott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joey started their career at Kaman's Art Shoppes as a Photographer/Cashier, where they provided excellent customer service and fulfilled photo package orders. Joey then worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Best Buy, where they processed customer transactions and developed strong relationships with customers. Joey went on to work as a Theater Associate/Server at Marcus Theatres, where they handled guest transactions, met sales expectations, and performed daily concession maintenance duties. Joey also gained experience as a Machine Test Operator at The Toro Company. Joey then joined Fresh Thyme Farmers Market as a Front End Supervisor, overseeing employees and managing schedules.

Joey's interest in engineering and technology led him to internships at NASA, where they served as the L'SPACE Academy Student Project Administrative Lead. In this role, they supervised project development, aided the science team in instrument selection, and assisted the design team in mechanical descent and lander mechanism verification. Joey furthered their engineering experience as a Nuclear Engineering Intern at Xcel Energy.

Joey's passion for collegiate esports led him to join the College Carball Association as a Community Manager. Currently, they are working at eFuse as the CCA, Collegiate Operations Coordinator, where they are responsible for coordinating collegiate operations.

Throughout their various roles, Joey has consistently demonstrated strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Joey Spott pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 2017 and 2021.
