Anurag Nilesh has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Anurag started their career as a Research Lab Intern at EPFL in 2009, where they developed an interface for speech recognition using the sphinx3 library.

Anurag then worked as a Software Engineer at Yahoo! from 2010 to 2011, where they were involved in projects related to data transformation and refactoring Maven configurations.

Anurag then joined Amazon.com as a Software Development Engineer in 2011, where they worked on designing and developing a Points platform that offered reward points to customers on all of Amazon's marketplaces.

Anurag then moved to Rocket Fuel Inc. in 2012, where they served as a Senior Rocket Scientist and Engineering Manager. In this role, they worked on developing data pipelines and applications using various technologies such as Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Storm, Kafka, and Yarn. Anurag also led initiatives to improve the robustness of bidding systems and developed a generic alert framework to monitor data pipelines.

Anurag then joined Sizmek in 2017 as a Senior Engineering Manager before moving to eightfold.ai in 2018. At eightfold.ai, they held the roles of Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. In their most recent role as Principal Engineer, they led the data platform team and was responsible for scaling, optimizing, and extending the data integrations from external systems.

Throughout their career, Anurag has demonstrated expertise in data integration, software development, and team leadership.

Anurag Nilesh completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from 2006 to 2010. Before that, they completed their 10+2 education in Computer Science from Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram from 2004 to 2006. Anurag's earlier education includes completing class X from Saint Joseph's School, Bhagalpur from 1992 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 from Coursera in 2012.
