Leo Chavez

Leo Chavez has over 20 years of work experience. From 2000-2003, they were a Senior Technician at West Marine Products. From 2003-2007, they worked as a Network Engineer at West Marine, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting retail and distribution center infrastructure solutions. From 2007-2012, they worked as a Project Management Consultant at South Carolina Business One Stop, where they managed several software development projects and acted as an infrastructure architect. From 2012-2013, they were a Senior IT Consultant at the South Carolina Department of Revenue, where they acted as a Technical Lead and Sr. Project Manager on security remediation efforts. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of EITS.

Leo Chavez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Cabrillo College between 1999 and 2002. Leo also holds certifications from VMware, Microsoft, Project Management Institute, and (ISC)². These certifications include VCAP5 Data Center Design (2013), VCP5 Desktop (2013), VCP5 Infrastructure Virtualization (2013), VCP4 Infrastructure Virtualization (2012), MCITP Enterprise Admin (2010), MCSE (2005), PMP (2005), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (2020).
