Wesam AlZahir

Wesam AlZahir has a diverse work experience in software engineering and cybersecurity research. In 2022, they are working as a Software Engineer for Ejaro | إيجابرو and as the Founder of Invoicen. At Invoicen, they are designing and implementing a SaaS API enabling seamless integration with Saudi Arabia Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority e-invoicing, as well as implementing and maintaining an open-source core lib `zatca-xml-js`. In the same year, they are also working as a Software Engineer at LazyWait, where they are responsible for maintaining, scaling, and implementing new features for major solutions such as POS, KDS, SoftPOS, Webadmin, and CRM Dashboard. In 2019, they were a Cybersecurity Researcher at SEFCOM, where they were leading a team doing vulnerability research on Android kernels, focusing on Google Pixel and OnePlus devices, and conducting vulnerability research on low level QUALCOMM Trust-Zone implementations in the kernel.

Wesam AlZahir received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2020. Wesam has also obtained two certifications from Virtual Hacking Labs: VHL Penetration testing Advanced+ in June 2021 and VHL Penetration testing basic in June 2021.
