Phillip Scott

Phillip Scott, PT, DPT has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy. Phillip most recently served as the Director of Quality Management at Elara Caring, where they implemented data analytics to improve branch ratings and developed predictive analytics calculators. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager of Quality Operations at the same company, leading efforts to enhance HHCAHPS scores and improve efficiency through Microsoft Power Automate workflows. Earlier in their career, they served as a Staff Educator, providing training and virtual instruction to clinicians and managers and participating in therapy advisory councils. Before joining Elara Caring, Phillip was the Regional Therapy Director at Jordan Health Services, overseeing therapy services for multiple branches and negotiating contractual amendments. Phillip also worked as a Therapy Director at National Senior Care Home Health Services, managing field PT treatments and supervising therapists. Phillip began their career as a Physical Therapist at Home Care Providers of Texas and Platinum Therapy Resources, gaining experience in comprehensive evaluations, treatments, and family training. Phillip also completed student physical therapy roles at Christus Schumpert - Outpatient and Tri-State Physical Therapy and Sport, where they evaluated and treated patients with various diagnoses and worked with athletes.

Phillip Scott, PT, DPT received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health and Human Performance from Northwestern State University from 2000 to 2004. Phillip then pursued their Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, specializing in Physical Therapy/Therapist, from 2007 to 2009.
