Chris Thomas has had an extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Chris started their career as an Engineering Manager at JcAIR and later moved to Aeroflex - formerly BFGoodrich Aerospace - Test Systems Division and BF Goodrich Aerospace/JCAIR, where they held the position of Engineering Manager. In 2001, they became the Vice President of Engineering at DCI, Inc. Following that role, they joined Elecsys Corporation as the Vice President of Information Technology, where they managed corporate IT systems and engineering services. Chris later transitioned to the role of Vice President of IoT Systems at Elecsys Corporation, where they oversaw the management and support of the company's IIoT devices and negotiated agreements with service providers. Alongside their work in the technology industry, Chris also served as a Board Member and Sound Engineer at West Side Folk and a Board Member at Lumberyard Arts Center.

Chris Thomas attended Lawrence High School for an unspecified period of time. Following high school, they enrolled at The University of Kansas, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. No specific dates for these educational experiences were provided.
