Senior Reliability Engineer at Electric Hydrogen Co.

Chris Vandevoordt has a strong background in engineering and reliability roles. Chris currently works as a Senior Reliability Engineer at Electric Hydrogen since 2023. Previously, Chris worked at Waters Corporation from 2017 to 2023, holding positions as a Senior Reliability Engineer and Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Prior to that, they gained experience at GE Oil & Gas from 2010 to 2016. During their time at GE, Chris held various roles including Project Lead, Engineer Team Lead, Lead Product Engineer, and Product Engineer. Before joining GE, Chris worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Boat from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on evaluating and improving designs for military applications.

Chris Vandevoordt holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. In addition to their formal education, Chris also holds several certifications including Certified Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
