Ajit Anbiah Renjit

Ajit Anbiah Renjit is an experienced research manager at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since January 2017, previously serving as a power systems engineer at Spirae from January 2016 to January 2017. At Spirae, Ajit developed dynamic models for distributed energy resources (DERs) in microgrids and control algorithms for integrating utility-scale energy storage. Ajit has a strong academic background with a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, where Ajit also worked as a graduate teaching and research associate, focusing on the analysis and control of DERs. Other experience includes a research internship at NEC Laboratories America, where Ajit built control schemes for hybrid energy storage systems, and a design role at Siemens for advanced automation systems in mining and material handling.
