Ian Colbert

Ian Colbert started their work experience in 2016 as an Apprentice to an Electrician at JP Electric. Ian then worked as a Heavy Machinery Operator at Tom Stuart Construction Co, operating a telehandler and a tower crane. In 2018, they became an Electrical Engineer Intern at Utah State University, where they were involved in coding and development of an active balancing 3 kW battery system. Additionally, Ian currently works at Electric Power Systems, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, holding the role of Electrical Engineer III since June 2022.

Ian Colbert obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Utah State University - College of Engineering. Ian attended the university from 2015 to 2019.
