Gerard Quinn

Gerard Quinn's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Gerard started their career as an Electrician in various companies from 1997 to 1999. Gerard then worked as a DC Power Technician at Q.E.S Ltd in 1999 and later joined Meteor Mobile Communications as an Electrical Coordinator, responsible for managing electrical work on the company's telecommunications network. Gerard also oversaw the planning, design, and construction of telecommunications base stations in the Leinster region. In 2005, Quinn became a Construction Manager at Digicel, where they successfully delivered multiple telecommunications infrastructure projects across the Caribbean and South America. Gerard managed a budget of $12 million and a team of 14 direct reports. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Build Controller and Programme Manager at Obelisk, where they delivered technology upgrade projects for Ericsson and managed the design stage of telecommunications network upgrades. Gerard then joined SAP as an Internal Consultant in 2012, conducting strategic analyses and evaluations of the company's Inside Sales operations. In 2013, Quinn became a Senior Delivery Manager, Project Manager, and Network Rollout Manager at Ericsson, responsible for deployment, service provider management, and project management. Gerard also worked as a Programme Manager at the KTL Group in 2013, overseeing project delivery for Huawei and UK Broadband. Most recently, they joined ESB in 2019 as a Contract & Vendor Manager and Workstream Lead SMART Metering.

Gerard Quinn completed their Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Technological University Dublin in 2004. Gerard then pursued an ACCA Diploma in Financial Management from Technological University Dublin from 2008 to 2010. In 2007, they obtained their Prince2 Practitioner certification in Project Management from APM Group. In 2011, Gerard attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, where they earned their MBA in Business in 2012.
