Jennifer Kitaygorsky

Principal Scientist at Electro Magnetic Applications

Jennifer Kitaygorsky, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. since August 2008, also holding titles as Senior Scientist and Program Manager. In this role, Jennifer consults for major civilian and military aerospace prime integrators, focusing on the evaluation of inductive interference coupling on railroad tracks from high voltage power lines. Prior to this, Jennifer served as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester from September 2002 to August 2008, studying photoresponse and fluctuations in low-dimensional superconductors and superconducting detectors. Additionally, Jennifer was a Visiting Scientist at TU Delft in 2007, where a new read-out technique for superconducting detectors was developed. Jennifer earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Colorado Denver.
