John also held the position of Director of Consumer Marketing for Enbrel, where they led the brand's direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives.
Before their time at Amgen, John worked at Johnson & Johnson, where they held multiple roles including Director of Healthcare Professional Marketing for Consumer Healthcare brands such as Listerine, Band-Aid, Neosporin, and Polysporin. John also served as a Senior Brand Manager for brands like Splenda, Sudafed, Benadryl, Zyrtec, and Tylenol. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, managing various aspects of marketing campaigns, and overseeing cross-functional teams.
Additionally, John has a background in sales, having served as a Sales Director at Johnson & Johnson, where they successfully grew sales in various channels. John also held the position of Franchise Business Director for the Tylenol brand, where they played a key role in revitalizing the brand's share trend.

John Kirkman has a BA in Economics and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. John also holds an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management from La Salle University. Additionally, they studied as an exchange student at Universidad de Belgrano, focusing on International Business and Economics.
