Simon Brunet

Simon Brunet has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Simon is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives - Technology and Engineering at Elekta, where they lead a cross-functional team and manages budgets. Previously, Simon was the Head of Clarity Software Engineering at Elekta, overseeing the development and improvement of cancer care technology. Before joining Elekta, Simon worked as the R&D Director at Ergoresearch, where they managed technical projects and coordinated teams. Simon also has experience as a Software Developer and SCRUM Master at Zimmer CAS, developing technology for orthopedic surgery, and as an Embedded Software Specialist at CAE, contributing to the software for CF-18 fighter planes. Simon has internship experience in actuation system modeling at Bombardier Aerospace and as a Software Specialist at PTC. Simon also worked as an Assistant Machinist at Messier-Dowty and as a Science Mentor at Collège Ahuntsic.

Simon Brunet has an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics from Polytechnique Montréal, obtained from 2006 to 2010. Simon also has a DEC in Natural Sciences from Ahuntsic College, earned from 2004 to 2006.
