Thomas Aker

Thomas Aker, MBA, CCEP-I, is an experienced corporate compliance and integrity officer currently working at Elekta since June 2021. Previously, Thomas held various compliance-related positions at Ericsson from August 2009 to June 2021, including Compliance Officer - Allegation Management, Regional Compliance Officer for South East Asia & Oceania, and Director of Trade Compliance for the same region. Thomas has a solid foundation in managing allegations, anti-corruption efforts, and implementing comprehensive compliance functions across multiple countries. A successful career preceded these roles, with positions in sales and marketing within the telecommunications sector and a foundation in retail management. Thomas holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and additional certifications in anti-money laundering and compliance.
