Sorin Grigorescu

Sorin Grigorescu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and technology. As the Founder of RovisLab since June 2010, Sorin has contributed significantly to the field. Concurrently, Sorin holds multiple academic positions at Transilvania University of Brasov, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Lecturer. In the technology sector, Sorin has been with Elektrobit since June 2013, serving in various capacities such as Country Technology Lead, Head of Artificial Intelligence, and Team Manager for Navigation and Driver Assistance, as well as Senior Software Developer. Previous research roles were held at Technische Universität München and the University of Bremen, where Sorin completed a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Sorin also holds a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Universitatea „Transilvania” din Brașov.
