Jacob Patton

Director of Data and Integrations at Element451

Jacob Patton has a diverse work experience. Jacob is currently the Director of Data and Integrations at Element451, starting in February 2022. Before that, they worked at Berea College from 2014 to 2022, holding various roles. From August 2018 to February 2022, they served as the Assistant Director of Admissions-Information Systems & Data Administration, where they oversaw admission data integrity and security, conducted return on investment analyses, and supported other enrollment areas. Prior to this, from May 2014 to August 2018, they worked as the Coordinator of Information Systems and Communications, supervising staff, managing the CRM platform, collaborating with external departments and vendors, and performing daily processing functions.

Earlier in their career, Jacob had student teaching experience at Madison Southern High School from August 2013 to December 2013. Jacob also worked at Berea College from 2009 to 2013, in roles such as GEAR UP! Appalachia College Prep. Specialist, Campus Life Student Director, Event Technician Area Coordinator, and Campus Life Rotator, where they supervised fellow students, created work schedules, assisted with event set-up, and performed janitorial work.

Additionally, they served as a Home Repair Camp Counselor at Confrontation Point Ministries from May 2010 to August 2010.

Jacob Patton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Berea College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Jacob then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Administration at Eastern Kentucky University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their time at Berea College, Jacob attended Edison State Community College from 2007 to 2009, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In addition to their formal education, Jacob obtained several certifications including Enrollment Analytics from Element451 in December 2021, Lean Business Processes Green Belt Certification from the University of Tennessee in April 2019, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in February 2020.
