Margus Matkur

Margus Matkur is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Telecommunications Expert, Team Lead, and Project Manager at Elering since February 2019, Margus has previously held significant positions at Elektrilevi, including Unit Manager and Project Manager, from March 2014 to February 2019. Additional experience includes roles as BIT Manager and Product Department Director at Tele2 and a tenure as a Member of the Supervisory Board for the Estonian Broadband Development Foundation. Margus's career began at Estonian Energy Telecommunication Networks, where positions included Department Manager and Network Manager from May 2001 to August 2012. Education includes an MSc in Telecommunication from TalTech and an MBA in Economics from the University of Tartu, complemented by studies at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
