Hatem (Tim) Abou-Sayed MD MBA has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. In 1996, they began their career as a resident in surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. After completing their residency and attaining certification by the American Board of Surgery, they went on to become a resident in plastic surgery at UCSF Medical Center in 2001. In 2003, they began working as a plastic surgeon at Plastic Surgery of Palm Beach, where they also served as a board member of local medical society and breast advisory boards of two local breast centers, as well as medical director of a hospital-based wound care center. In 2012, they began working as a medical director and product developer for Modernizing Medicine, where they were responsible for the development and strategy of the plastic surgery electronic medical record product line. That same year, they also opened their own solo boutique aesthetic practice. In 2013, they served on the executive committee of EHR-industry consortium, representing a clinician's vantage point on a vendor-centric advocacy group. In 2015, they became the Vice President of User Engagement for Interpreta, where they were responsible for product design and strategy, team leadership for front-end application development, and business development for strategic alliances and client sales. In 2020, they cofounded Reactive Medical Labs Inc., where they serve as the Chief Medical Officer and helps lead marketing and business development strategy. Most recently, in 2022, they cofounded Yes Doctor, a novel patient acquisition and financing platform for elective healthcare and aesthetics, where they serve as the Chief Medical Officer.

Hatem (Tim) Abou-Sayed MD MBA has a comprehensive education history. Hatem (Tim) obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 1988 and 1992. Hatem (Tim) then went on to obtain an MD from the University of California, San Francisco between 1996 and 2001. Following their MD, they completed a General Surgery Residency Program at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital between 2001 and 2003. In 2004, they obtained Board Certification in Plastic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 2002, they obtained Board Certification in Surgery from the American Board of Surgery. Lastly, they obtained an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management between 2011 and 2013.
