Roy Dequina 🇵🇭

Roy Dequina has over 10 years of professional experience in the tech industry. Roy began their career in 2015 as the Founder of Happyning, Inc. and the Executive Creative Director and Advisor of NINJIO Cybersecurity Awareness Training. In 2016, they founded and organized the T:EA \\ LA </Tech Early Adopters - brewed in LA> MeetUp Group. In 2018, they founded JUNXION, a real and virtual experience. In 2019, they co-founded AKTIV Digital, Inc. and served as the Co-founder and CEO of ELEV^TE. In 2021, they served as a Strategic Advisor for Styleworks Design Group, Inc. and an Advisor for a Stealth Startup - Portfolio. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member for Justice IQ, partnering to advance criminal justice, and is a General Partner for GENERA Fund.

Roy Dequina attended California State University, Northridge from 1992 to 1996, studying Kinesiology and Exercise Science - Physical Therapy. Prior to that, they attended Mt. San Antonio College from 1989 to 1992 and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1989 to 1991, studying Architecture.
