Dr. Daniel Harrison

Dr. Daniel Harrison is an accomplished cybersecurity and information technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving on the Advisory Board of Elevate Xchange and as a Member of the Board of Advisors for VigiTrust, Dr. Harrison previously held the position of Chief Information Security Officer for Harris County, where oversight and strategic leadership in security governance were pivotal. Additional experience includes modernization of the U.S. Air Force Cybersecurity Program and cybersecurity management at Bechtel Corporation. Dr. Harrison's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Computer Science with a focus on Information Assurance, complemented by a Master's degree in Information Systems Security Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, all from Colorado Technical University. Certifications include DCS, C-CISO, CRISC, CISM, CISA, and SEC.
