Principal Engineer at Eliassen Group

Andy Jacobs has over 20 years of experience in web development and technology. Andy started their career as a Freelance Web Developer, working on various projects for local small businesses and starting online magazine ventures. Andy then worked as a Lead Web Developer at Jump2Go, where they developed an enterprise-level application for coordinating data capture in radio stations. After that, they joined Plexipixel as a Lead Developer, where they worked until 2010. Andy then worked as a JavaScript Developer at PhotoRocket for a year before joining Stripes39 as a Lead Developer. In 2014, they joined Artefact as an Interactive Developer, working with an innovative team on product design for the future. Andy then briefly owned Northwest Wind & Surf before founding the Seattle Developers Cooperative, where they were a Founding Member until 2021. Andy joined Rooster Park in 2021 and is currently working as a Principal Engineer. Andy's most recent position is with Eliassen Group, where they also hold the role of Principal Engineer.

Andy Jacobs attended Washington State University from 2003 to 2006, majoring in Computer Science. From 1999 to 2002, they studied at Bellevue College and earned an Associate's degree in Information Technology with a focus on C# Programming.
