Joe Norris

Joe Norris has extensive experience in risk management, governance, and compliance. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at Desert Financial Credit Union. Prior to this, they worked as a Risk and Compliance Principal Consultant-Director at Eliassen Group, where they helped clients achieve strategic goals by delivering compliant products and services. Joe also held roles at Wells Fargo, Early Warning, CSAA Insurance Group, AAA, and American Express, where they focused on mitigating risk, implementing compliance programs, and managing vendor relations. Joe has a strong background in IT governance and enterprise risk management, as well as experience in operations management and project management. Joe holds certifications in CDPSE, CGEIT, ITIL, SIX SIGMA, and COSO.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Arizona State University between 1985 and 1990. Joe also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA in 2021, the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA in 2016, the ITIL Foundation v3 from EXIN in 2012, and the COBIT certification from ISACA in 2012.
