BJ McElrath

BJ is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who takes a compassionate, person-centered approach that is strength based and solution focused. He believes that nurturing a safe place where clients can feel validated and heard is an integral part of the therapeutic process. BJ enjoys working with teens, adults, couples, and families.

Utilizing a range of techniques, from traditional CBT to narrative, he is passionate about helping families, couples, and individuals work towards living their best story. BJ’s experience includes working with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and stress. His past stops include working in community-based programs, schools, churches, clinical practice, and leadership in a non-profit mental health setting.
