Iyanuoluwa Odebode, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Research Assistant and Data Specialist at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 2014, they moved to iWebGate, where they served as a Product Manager and Software Developer. In 2016, they returned to the University of Maryland Baltimore County as a Research Assistant. In 2018, they became a Doctoral Researcher at the Air Force Institute of Technology, where they identified technical solutions to a given problem using simulation theories and developed models, simulations and performance assessments to characterize systems. In 2019, they joined the Internal Revenue Service as an Information Technology Specialist. In 2020, they began working at Ellumen, Inc. as a Business Development Consulting (AI/ML), Co Host of AI Innovation Space, and Machine Learning Consultant. Iyanuoluwa also took on the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Wittenberg University. In 2021, they founded Zeitios and became the Chief Data Scientist, building next generation Web3.0 technologies and AI/ML products, as well as developing and enhancing processes and technology and software solutions to improve operational efficiency. In 2022, they co-founded Afromeals.
Iyanuoluwa Odebode, Ph.D has a diverse educational background. In 2004, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin. From 2009 to 2011, they earned a MS in Bioinformatics from Morgan State University. In 2012, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information System from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In addition, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, including LinkedIn, Faith Driven Entrepreneur, Draper University, CFEI, CITI Program, Scrum Alliance, and Microsoft.
