Fischer Gabbert has a diverse work experience in the field of GNC engineering and autonomy and flight controls. Starting from 2012, Fischer worked as a Design Engineer at Piper Aircraft, where they focused on upgrading aircraft structures. In 2013, Fischer joined the Canada-France Hawai'i Telescope Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to the investigation and design of a more efficient telescope hydraulics system. From 2013 to 2015, Fischer worked as the President and Mechanical Engineer at Horsehead Engineering. In 2014, they joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Vehicle Engineer, specializing in redesigning the rudder flight control system for Naval Aircraft.
