John Pheatt

John Pheatt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John currently holds the position of Structures Lead at Elroy Air, starting in March 2022. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of Loovah since January 2018.

Prior to their current roles, John worked at Joby Aviation as a Structural Engineer from May 2020 to March 2022. John also held the position of Senior Structural Analyst from March 2019 to May 2020.

John's previous experience includes working at ICON Aircraft as the Structural Integrity Lead from November 2018 to March 2019 and as a Structural Analyst from May 2015 to November 2018.

John also worked at Beechcraft, where they served as an Aftermarket and Fleet Field Support Engineer from January 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, they were a Structural Engineer from October 2012 to January 2014 and a Production Line Support Engineer from July 2011 to October 2012.

John started their career at the University of Kansas - School of Engineering, where they worked as an Assistant Lab Director from May 2009 to June 2011 and as a Lab Assistant from May 2008 to May 2009.

John'searliest work experience was as a Rental Property Manager at Atlantic Pacific Environmental from August 2006 to June 2011. Through their diverse roles, John has gained expertise in structural engineering, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

From 2006 to 2011, John Pheatt attended The University of Kansas, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
