Manopriya Chokkalingam

Manopriya Chokkalingam has a diverse work experience in bioinformatics and research. Manopriya is currently working as a Bioinformatics Scientist II at Elucidata since March 2022. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Deutsche Diabetes Zentrum from August 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Doctoral Researcher at CECAD Cologne from September 2013 to June 2018, where they developed an enhanced network propagation algorithm.

Manopriya also has experience as a Master Thesis Project at Madurai Kamarajar University from December 2012 to April 2013 and as a Summer Intern at Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) in May 2012. Manopriya completed their Bachelor Thesis at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University from November 2010 to April 2011 and had a Summer Internship at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore from July 2010 to September 2010.

Manopriya Chokkalingam has a strong academic background in the field of biological sciences. Manopriya pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they continued their education at Madurai Kamaraj University where they completed their Master's degree in Computational Biology from 2011 to 2013. Manopriya's educational journey has equipped their with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of biotechnology and computational biology.
