Pam Curtin has a long and varied work experience. Pam began their career in 1996 as a Research Associate at Hammer Environmental Consulting. In 1997, they worked as a Recycling Coordinator Intern at The Environmental Careers Organization. Pam then joined Target Software as an Application Developer and Conversion Manager, where they developed and tested enhancements to their software application, used SQL and PL/SQL routines to build complex conversion routines, and streamlined and improved the conversion process. In 2007, Target Software was acquired by Blackbaud, where Pam worked as an Oracle Database Administrator. During their time at Blackbaud, they researched new technologies, utilized PL/SQL and SQL to build a custom database monitoring system, and tested new Oracle releases. In 2013, Pam moved to Monster as a Senior Database Administrator, where they developed and maintained standards for big data stores/database systems in the cloud and worked closely with agile development teams. In 2018, Pam joined Constant Contact as a Principal Software Engineer, where they developed data flows leveraging AWS technologies and was an active participant on an agile scrum team. Most recently, in 2021, Pam joined Embark Veterinary as a Senior Software Engineer.
Pam Curtin completed a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Science from Lehigh University in 1994. Pam then went on to acquire a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University in 1996, specializing in Resource Economics and Policy.
