Karen Eckert

Karen Eckert has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. Karen is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at EmblemHealth/ConnectiCare since August 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Integrated Care Management at Sentara Healthcare from January 2018 to August 2019. From May 2016 to September 2017, they served as the Vice President of Operations at Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Physician Health Partners. Karen also has experience working as a Vice President at Anthem, Aetna International, and Aetna, where they focused on clinical program services, international medical management, and medical management respectively. Additionally, they have worked as a Senior Director at Qualidigm and as a Vice President at Excellus BCBS and Oxford Health Plans.

Karen Eckert earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University, graduating in 1982. Karen then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from the University of New Haven, completing their studies in 1991. Prior to their higher education, Karen Eckert obtained their high school diploma from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1978, where they focused on college preparatory studies.
