Tynina Lucas has a rich professional background starting from 2001. Tynina began their career as a Network Engineer at Alcoa and then worked their way up to various roles such as Deskside Team Lead - IT, Assistant Sourcing Manager - IT Applications and Consulting, Sourcing Manager, and Global Sourcing Manager - Environmental Health and Safety. Tynina managed large North American EHS spend and directed major global spend as part of the Indirect Commodity Management Group, negotiating and maintaining all EHS Leveraged Master Service Agreements. At Highmark Health, Tynina served as a Strategic Category Relationship Manager and Manager of Strategic Sourcing, overseeing sourcing projects across categories and leading cross-functional category teams. Tynina then joined Alcoa as a Global Services Delivery Manager, where they oversaw the organization's Global Service Delivery Center and led the implementation of a new shared Global Service Desk model. Tynina later worked at Gateway Health as the Director of Procurement, responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies organization-wide. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at EmblemHealth.
Tynina Lucas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh - School of Information Science from 1995 to 2000. In 2019, they attended the Advanced Leadership Program at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Trident University International, expected to be completed in 2024.
