William Cheng

William Cheng has worked as a Software Engineer II at Emburse since October 2020. Prior to that, they were a Full Stack Web Developer at NeighborING from March 2018 to July 2020. During this time, they developed a UI using React and Redux with a backend using Node.js and MySQL. William also hosted the app using an AWS EC2 instance with Ubuntu and NGINX. In addition, they led a team of 3 interns and 2 software engineers, providing lectures on React and Node.js and leading standups. Before NeighborING, William worked as a Software Engineer Intern at ActivePDF, Inc. from June 2018 to August 2018.

William Cheng obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach, between 2016 and 2020. In addition, they attended LearningFuze from 2018 to 2019, focusing on web development.
