Mark Devries Fsa Maaa Cera

Mark DeVries, FSA MAAA CERA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Mark started their career at CUNA Mutual Group in 1997, where they held various roles including Actuarial Specialist, Actuarial Analyst, and Actuarial Associate from 1997 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Athene USA as an Associate Actuary. Since 2017, they have been working at EMC National Life Company, where they have held several key roles including Life and Annuity Actuary, Assistant Vice President Supervising Actuary, VP & CFO, and currently serves as the SVP, CFO, Treasurer, & Chief Actuary. Their expertise and knowledge in the field are evident through their wide-ranging experience in various actuarial positions.

Mark DeVries attended Wartburg College from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Physics. Mark later pursued additional certifications and received their ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) in December 2011, CERA (Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst) in January 2013, and FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) in December 2016, all from the Society of Actuaries.
