Matthew Studham is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at EMD Serono, Inc. since May 2015, where the focus is on analyzing -omics data for the immunology pipeline and collaborating with immunologists on drug target discovery in autoimmune conditions. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at CytoSolve, Inc., where responsibilities included developing kinetic models for drug discovery, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stockholm University, concentrating on genetic regulatory network inference related to cancer pathways. Earlier experience encompasses research and teaching positions at Iowa State University and software development at Fannie Mae. Matthew holds a PhD in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, an MBA in Information Systems Management, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Molecular Biology and Finance from the University of Maryland.
