Sea On Lee's work experience begins in 2011 when they were a Summer Undergraduate Researcher at Georgetown University. They continued in this role at Georgetown for the following summer as well. In 2013, Sea On Lee joined Virginia Tech as an Organic Chemistry TA and also participated in an Independent Research Study. They continued their research at Virginia Tech in 2014 as a Research Intern, focusing on smartphone exergaming apps and marketing materials. Sea On Lee then interned at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology from December 2014 to August 2015. They joined Nucleate Bio in July 2021 as a member of the Strategy Team. In 2016, Sea On Lee began their doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University and also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from June 2022 to May 2023. Throughout their studies, they have made notable contributions, including a pending US Patent and a research paper that was cited by Agilent's GeneMorph II Random Mutagenesis Protocol. Currently, Sea On Lee is a Scientific Developer I at Emerald Cloud Lab, starting in December 2022.
