JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant
REPORTS TO: VP of Finance
STATUS: Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: This role will primarily focus on managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes across multiple entities. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in the annual budgeting process as well as assisting with preparation for annual audits, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Oversee and process payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice coding and processing, vendor payments, and customer billing.
Reconciliation of bank accounts, receivable and payable ledgers, as well as general ledger.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, review budgets, and support decision-making processes.
Assist in preparation for annual audits, providing necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues within financial reports and transactions promptly.
Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and legislation that may impact the organization.
Continually seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the department.
Ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and other assigned duties.
