Alyssa Hove

Alyssa Hove has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the Director of Clinical Manufacturing at Emergent BioSolutions, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., where they held the role of Senior Manager of Antibody Upstream Manufacturing from January 2022 to September 2022, and Manager of Antibody Upstream Manufacturing from September 2020 to January 2022. Alyssa also gained experience at Abzena as an Upstream Process Development Associate II from October 2019 to September 2020. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., including Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Area Lead, Senior Manufacturing Associate, and Manufacturing Associate. During their time at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., they played a crucial role in developing the Buffer Preparation unit operation, providing support to the production floor staff, reviewing batch records, and managing the development of reports.

Alyssa Hove earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Dominican University of California between 2009 and 2013. Alyssa also completed a Professional Program in Regulatory Affairs at UC Berkeley Extension from 2016 to 2017. In 2009, they graduated from Vacaville High School with a High School Diploma.
