Oliver Vogt

VP Manufacturing Operations, Multi-site at Emergent BioSolutions

Oliver Vogt began their work experience in 2000 as an Executive Director of Engineering at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they oversaw a significant increase in manufacturing capacity and the expansion of the campus footprint. Oliver then moved on to Hospira, Inc. as the Director of Global Process & Equipment Engineering, leading major capital projects and implementing cutting-edge technologies. From 2012 to 2016, Vogt served as the VP of Manufacturing Operations at Merz North America, where they successfully implemented automation and consolidation strategies to drive down costs and increase production capabilities. Oliver then held positions at Adello Biologics, LLC and Catalent Pharma Solutions, focusing on streamlining operations and optimizing efficiency. Most recently, Vogt served as the VP & General Manager at Resilience, where they provided customized processes and facilities for complex medicines. Currently, they hold the role of VP Manufacturing Operations, Multi-Site at Emergent BioSolutions, where they support the development and manufacturing of vaccines and therapeutics.

Oliver Vogt holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Marquette University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur) from Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Mosbach between 1987 and 1991. In addition to their formal education, Oliver has also obtained certifications such as "20 Habits of Executive Leadership" and "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" from LinkedIn, and a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1993.
