Stacie Simmons Sperry has extensive work experience in compliance investigations and legal counsel roles. Stacie Simmons is currently a Senior Director, Compliance Investigations at Emergent BioSolutions since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at KPMG US, including Senior Director & Counsel in investigations, ethics & compliance from 2016 to 2023, Senior Director & Counsel in legal, regulatory & compliance from 2019 to 2023, and Senior Director & Counsel in legal, risk & regulatory from 2018 to 2019. Stacie Simmons also served as a Director & Counsel in legal, risk & regulatory from 2016 to 2018 at KPMG US. Stacie was a Board Member at Paradigm Foundation (USA) from 2017 to 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Jones Day from 2003 to 2008 and as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma from 2002 to 2003. Stacie began their career as an Associate at Jones Day from 1999 to 2002.

Stacie Simmons Sperry has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oklahoma State University, where they were recognized as the Outstanding Female Graduate in 1996. Stacie Simmons also holds additional certifications, including Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking obtained from LinkedIn in 2023, and Certified Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) from the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI) obtained in 2020.
