Joana Cerejo

Joana Cerejo is a Senior Experience Designer at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead User Experience Designer at Emergn's technology strategy & product architecture department starting from November 2020. Joana also worked as a Mentor at GrowthMentor from October 2020 until August 2023. Joana's experience includes working as a Senior Product Designer at Wolters Kluwer from May 2020 to October 2020. Joana also has experience as a Lead User Experience Designer at Becker Professional Education from November 2015 to April 2020. Before that, they worked as an Invited Trainer at Rumos from July 2017 to October 2018, as well as at FLAG|Centro de Formação from September 2016 to August 2017, and at EDIT.- Disruptive Digital Education from March 2017 to May 2017. Joana also served as an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto from May 2013 to July 2016. Joana worked as a Product Designer at Cegid Primavera from August 2014 to November 2015. Joana Cerejo has a diverse education history. In 2010, they completed their MSc in Creative Industries Management with Distinction at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto. Joana then pursued a MA in Computer Animation at the Universidade Católica - Escola das Artes - Porto in 2012-2013. In 2016, they began a Doctoral Program in Digital Media with a specialization in Technology at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, Joana Cerejo obtained a Certification in UX Management from Nielsen Norman Group in 2018. Joana has also acquired various additional certifications and completed workshops related to UX design, product management, and design thinking from reputable institutions such as Microsoft, Interaction Design Foundation, and LinkedIn.
