Adriana Gaviria Duque

Adriana Gaviria Duque, Ph.D, serves as the Regional Director of University Partnerships at Emeritus since June 2021, where leadership focuses on enhancing global access to high-quality professional education in collaboration with prestigious universities. Prior experiences include acting as a Senior International Consultant at Penn State University, contributing to international engagement strategies for Latin America and the Caribbean, and directing Fulbright Colombia, where grant numbers significantly increased under Adriana's tenure. Additional roles include managing international affairs at Colombia's Ministry of Culture, developing strategic educational partnerships, and founding ProMicro to promote Colombian entrepreneurship in the U.S. with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Adriana also possesses extensive educational qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Public and Urban Policy from The New School, alongside multiple degrees in anthropology, economics, and development.
