Luke Shuley

Luke Shuley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Luke is currently working as a Product Owner at Emesent since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at Boeing from November 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Boeing, Luke worked at Telstra for several years. Luke held the role of Product Owner from December 2018 to December 2019, where they led stakeholder forums, defined user stories, and coordinated sprint planning. Luke was also responsible for delivering the MVP for the "Axiom" 5G Configuration Management tool and increasing its users by 300%.

Luke's earlier experience includes positions at Boeing Defence Australia as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer from December 2005 to March 2008, and at Consultel Solutions as an ICT Engineering Consultant from February 2005 to December 2005. Luke also worked at Nortel Networks as a Systems Application Engineer from February 2000 to August 2003.

Luke Shuley attended The University of Queensland from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Luke has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they became an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Product Ownership from ICAgile. In 2020, they completed the "Become a UX Designer from Scratch" course from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) and received the "HTML Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn. Luke also completed courses such as "Design thinking: The beginner's guide," "Web Development Foundations: Full-Stack vs Front-End," "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals," "Succeeding in Web Development: Full Stack and Front End," "User Experience for Web Design," and "Web Programming Foundations," all from LinkedIn, in January and March 2020. Additionally, Luke obtained the SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2021.
