Ariana Jimenez

Lead Research Specialist at Emory University

Ariana Jimenez-Rahman, MS, is currently serving as the Lead Research Specialist at Emory University, focusing on influenza and Sendai virus transmission models using advanced imaging and flow cytometry techniques. Prior to this role, Ariana completed a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Immunology at the University of Iowa, where research included examining tRNA fragment upregulation post-gammaherpesvirus infection and the role of iRHOM2 in colorectal cancer. Experience also includes serving as a teaching assistant and conducting research at institutions such as The University of Georgia and Oglethorpe University, with a notable involvement in microbial pathogenesis and cellular interactions with viral proteins. Additionally, Ariana held leadership positions as President of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.
