Paula Chan

Clinical Education and Product Specialist; Business Development at Emovi

Paula Chan has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy and specialized training. Paula started their career as the Director of Physical Therapy at The Riekes Center from 2001 to 2008, where they managed a team of physical therapists, established rehabilitation programs, and collaborated with a multidisciplinary team. Paula then worked as the Director of Physical Therapy at Restor Physical Therapy from 2008 to 2010, where they managed a team of therapists, aided in staff growth and development, and collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient success.

In 2018, Paula worked as a Physical Therapist at the Google Wellness Center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical staff and Google ergonomists to assist employees and their families in reaching their treatment goals. Paula also provided education on ergonomics, wellbeing, and conducted biomechanical assessments.

Paula established their own cash-based practice, Paula Chan, Physical Therapy and Specialized Training, in 2009. As the owner, they independently developed the practice, handled marketing, scheduling, and billing. Paula collaborated with healthcare professionals to create a team approach for patient care, prioritizing patient education and high-quality care.

Currently, Paula works for Emovi since 2020 as a Clinical Education and Product Specialist as well as a Business Development collaborator. Their role includes broadening the exposure of KneeKG in the US medical community, educating healthcare professionals on KneeKG 3D optical motion analysis, and developing relationships with orthopedic physicians, clinics, and allied health professionals.

Paula Chan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from UCLA. Paula also holds a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific.
